Nationwide 3D Laser Scanning Services

ZEALOT Reality Capture provides 3D laser scanning and scan-to-BIM in all 50 states. One crew standard, one accuracy spec (±5mm), one deliverable menu — E57/RCP/LAS point clouds, Revit models at LOD 200–350, and 2D CAD — whether the building is in Columbus or California.

We're headquartered in Powell, Ohio, which makes the Ohio and Midwest region our fastest-turnaround territory. Everywhere else, travel is quoted as a single mobilization line item — and on mid-size and large projects it's rarely the deciding factor.

    Which regions does ZEALOT cover?

Every US region, with the same service in each. The notes below reflect the project types each market tends to bring us — not limits on what we'll scan there.

    Midwest

    Home region

    Ohio · Indiana · Michigan · Illinois · Wisconsin · Minnesota · Missouri · Iowa

Home region — same-day and single-day mobilization from our Powell, Ohio headquarters.

    Northeast

New York · New Jersey · Pennsylvania · Massachusetts · Connecticut · Rhode Island · New Hampshire · Vermont · Maine

Dense building stock and pre-war structures — the same adaptive-reuse documentation we do across Ohio applies directly.

    Mid-Atlantic

    Maryland · Virginia · West Virginia · Delaware · Washington, D.C.

Government, institutional, and historic-preservation documentation with formal deliverable specs.

    Southeast

    Florida · Georgia · North Carolina · South Carolina · Tennessee · Alabama · Mississippi · Kentucky · Louisiana · Arkansas

High-growth construction markets where as-built verification and BIM coordination pay for themselves fastest.

    South Central

    Texas · Oklahoma

Industrial plants, distribution centers, and large-footprint commercial — where walking-pace mobile capture shortens field time most.

    Mountain West

    Colorado · Utah · Arizona · New Mexico · Nevada · Idaho · Montana · Wyoming

Campus, hospitality, and resort documentation; phased capture across large sites.

    West Coast

    California · Oregon · Washington

Seismic retrofit and renovation work where accurate existing-conditions data de-risks design.

    Great Plains & Alaska/Hawaii

Kansas · Nebraska · North Dakota · South Dakota · Alaska · Hawaii

Quoted per project with mobilization included — remote sites are a scheduling question, not a capability question.

How does a nationwide project work?

    One trip, all field work

Out-of-region captures are scheduled as dedicated trips that complete all scanning in one continuous visit — including nights and weekends for occupied facilities. Walking-pace mobile LiDAR keeps field days short even on large footprints.

    Remote processing

Registration, QA, and modeling happen back in Ohio, so distance affects only the field window — not deliverable turnaround. Deliverables arrive the same way for every client: E57/RCP point clouds, Revit at the contracted LOD, CAD drawings.

    Built for portfolios

Multi-site programs — retail rollouts, multifamily holdings, distribution networks — get one scope document, one deliverable standard, and directly comparable data in every market, instead of stitching together a different local vendor per city.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you really scan anywhere in the United States?

Yes. The equipment, crew, accuracy spec (±5mm), QA process, and deliverable formats are identical wherever the project is. What changes with distance is mobilization — travel time and cost are built into the quote as a single line item, and larger projects absorb it easily.

What does out-of-region mobilization add to a project?

For projects beyond our Midwest drive radius, the quote includes travel — typically a modest share of total cost on mid-size and large captures. On small out-of-region projects we'll tell you honestly when a local provider is the more economical choice; on multi-building, campus, or portfolio work, mobilization is rarely the deciding factor.

How is scheduling handled for distant projects?

Out-of-region captures are scheduled as dedicated trips, usually completing all field work in one continuous visit — including nights and weekends for occupied buildings. Processing and modeling happen remotely afterward, so distance affects only the field window, not deliverable turnaround.

Can you handle multi-site portfolios across several states?

Yes — portfolio work (retail rollouts, multifamily holdings, distribution networks) is where a single nationwide provider beats hiring locally in each market: one scope document, one deliverable standard, one point of contact, and directly comparable data across every site.

Have a project anywhere in the U.S.?

Tell us the location, square footage, and deliverable — we'll quote it with mobilization spelled out as its own line, so you can compare it honestly against local options.
